There seems to be a loop hole to get great combo bonuses. Unlike the original Project Gotham Racing, this game allows

you to go through the cone gates twice. You can go through either forwards or backwards, and hence build up your combo bonuses.

Custom Music

You can hear your own Xbox ripped music while driving. You must have music already copied to your hard drive. Go to the Options menu and go to PGR 2 Custom Soundtrack, Press L or R to scroll through soundtracks. Pick a song and then add it.

More Kudos

Use the handbrake when going around a turn.

Play an arcade game

Go to the garage and press Y to walk around. Go to the arcade machine to left of the garage door (where the wheels and filing cabinets are). Press A to play the arcade game. The game is called "Geometry Wars". Here are the controls for the game:

Move: Left Analog Stick

Shoot: Right Analog Stick

Bomb: R

Geometry Wars

While choosing a car in PGR2 hit right to select "garage". Once you are in the garage hit Y and look around for an area that has shelves with tires and rims around it. Go to that area and look for an arcade machine. When you get close to it hit A as if you were selecting a car. It will then go into an "old school" type of arcade game called geometry wars.

The Controls:

Left analog stick: steer in direction you point

Right analog stick: shoot in direction you point

L or R: Use bomb

Unlocking Bonus Cars

When you go into the showroom there are 5 cars under tarps in the bonus area that you cant even test drive. Each car is unlocked by how well you complete the game. Here is a list of what unlocks what:

All Silver Medals or Better: Porsche 911 GT1

All Steel Medals or Better: Delfino Feroce

All Bronze Medals or Better: Ferrari 250 GTO

All Gold Medals or Better: Mercedes CLK-GTR

All Platinum Medals: TVR Cerbera Speed 12

Color Yourself On Xbox Live

Like a particular color on your wheels? When you are on Xbox Live either host or join a game. Then select the car you want to change the color of (example, Porsche 911 GT1 white).

Then select a car from another class and in the color you want (example, Golf R32 blue). Hit the red button (B) until you get to the screen that says Single Player, go into Kudos Challenge and go to the area where your first car is (the Porsche 911 GT1 white in the example) and hit the green button (A) until you get to the screen with the little picture of the car on the top right of the screen.

Now go back into your created game of join a game on xbox live and your car will the be color you chose. (the example Porsche 911 GT1 white will now be blue).

Unlock The Enzo

You can unlock the Enzo and any other car by going into the showroom and when you see the locked 5 bonus car just walk around the room and you'll see two halls full of every car in the game!

Cone Challenges

When playing cone challenges, remember that it is all about the Kudos. If you look at the top ten ghosts of the Cone Challenge, you will see that people do not complete them fairly. They blatantly cheat by doing many, donuts, slides, and cone gates to accumulate the points. Even though this is not completely fair, it is also not that easy.

Better Driving And Faster Laps

Notice that on all tracks there are skid marks (darker tarmac) before turns and fast bends. When you approach the darker tarmac, hit the brakes and make a concentrated, cleaner turn. This will ensure a faster time and less mistakes.

Unlocking Cars

Win all of the expert (platinum) races in the Kudos World Championships.

Porsche 959 Spinning

Select the Porsche 959 with a manual transmission. Get the car up to top RPMs in first gear. Turn hard to the left and throw it into reverse. As soon as it is in reverse, accelerate in reverse quickly. Hold the accelerator and the car should spin wildly. This takes several tries to get it to work at its best, but you can get the car to spin like a tornado forever if done properly.

Shoot In The Air

Enter multi-player mode and select the Nurburgring track while it is raining. Race in a Yellow Ferrari F40 and a Yellow Ferrari 250 GTO. You will start on a large straight away. From there, have the Ferrari F40 will turn around and go the wrong way while the Ferrari 250 GTO drives the correct way. Once at opposite ends, turn around a race down the straight away at each other and collide. You will need to get a lot of speed. Once you collide with each other one of the cars will hopefully be hurled into the air. This may not work the first time, keep trying until it does.

Music in Geometry Wars

To get music in Geometry Wars simply do the following:

1: Get into Geometry Wars. (Go into the garage, walk up to the arcade machine and press the ''A'' button)

2: Press the ''B'' button once.

3: Now here comes the tricky part as it requires a little timing. Press the ''A'' button again so you are back into the garage. Now, wait about half a second then get back into Geometry Wars.

The music from the stereo should now be playing in the background.
